The obesity rate in the U.S. is awful! Not that my sibs are obese, because they are no way close to even being fat! There childhood is very different from what I grew up with. When I was little, I'd spend hours outside riding my bike, playing with the kids down the road, jumping on the trampoline, and many other activities. What my siblings consider a nice day is.. getting to lay on the couch and watch Netflix. WHAT??? I took the kids for a walk much like I always do, and I told them to run. I kind of wanted to see what they could do, and it turned into I'm making them run. I jogged behind them and yelled words of encouragement as they tried to run. I heard comments of "this is too hard," or "my legs hurt," and "I can't do this." This is coming from children bouncing with energy (4 year old(almost) a 7 year old(almost) and a 10 year old(almost)). They all pushed through, but there were times when the 7 year old would try and sit down after barely running, or the 4 year old was crying because he didn't want to do it. I was in awe at the fact they couldn't do it. After we made a full lap, I congratulated them and told them good job for pushing through and doing it.
I made sure they all had water, and we all hopped in the car and went home. I told them to get more water and then hurry into the living room to cool off and stretch, and they all complained. My heavens, what in the world?
I've decided that from now on I'm making them run and jog. These kids are going to BEAT the obesity rate and be fit and happy and healthy.
Seeing as though I am waiting for my missionary, I myself will be working out as well.
I don't know who all is going to read this, but I'm making a promise publicly to get fit,
and stay fit. Tyler is working hard for me, so I can too;)
I'm going to try doing a quote thing for each day that I blog
I guess we will see(:
"God doesn't care nearly as much about where you have been as he does about where you are and with his help, where you are willing to go."

Loved that quote you put! Totally using that as my next wall status lol. It was just what I needed to read. Great blog, girlie!!
